THE MAIN STORY
From a finance dashboard and a chess AI to safer city routes and enterprise analytics, I like solving problems from different angles. My experience spans individual builds, Agile teams, hackathons, and the communication skills that come from working with customers and event clients.
PROJECT QUEST LOG
Personal builds, team projects, and hackathon experiments across software, data, and AI.
I built a desktop tool that matches partner order spreadsheets with local inventory. I added configurable customer and part-number mapping, stock updates, and audit sheets with exception highlighting, then packaged the Tkinter app as a Windows executable.
explore Merginator ↗I worked with an Agile team to build a full-stack personal finance dashboard. I implemented authentication and stock/forex search, charts, and watchlists; contributed to CI/CD and Docker builds; and supported AWS deployment with Terraform, EC2, and RDS MySQL.
explore Finus ↗I built interactive crime heatmaps and AI-powered walking and cycling route planning using five years of Winnipeg violent crime data. Our project prioritizes lower-risk areas over the shortest distance and won Best AI-Integrated Hack at UWinnipeg Hacks.
explore SafePath ↗I helped build a hackathon web app for vaccine eligibility, scheduling, and history. I built a rule-based recommendation engine, colour-coded timelines, email and SMS reminders, and Google Calendar syncing, with an AI assistant for personalized immunization questions.
I built a Java chess game with a minimax opponent, move validation, and board-state tracking. I used object-oriented principles to keep the game logic maintainable and illegal moves off the board.
explore Chess Game ↗I worked in a team of three to build a Java command-line app for exploring Chicago crash statistics. I built a relational SQL database with BCNF normalization, a Python CSV import workflow, and complex queries to uncover patterns in the data.
